I like to eat. I like to cook. I like to eat things I cook. But, ruts happen. So, I made a New Year's resolution for 2011: I will cook at least one new-to-me recipe per week, for the entire year. This is a record of that resolution. Please feel free to join me - membership is open (though posting is limited to myself), and all posts will be public. I'd love to hear what you think of the recipes if you try them yourself, and I always welcome suggestions - either of recipes to try, or ways to improve on recipes I've already posted.
I have three children, and my family is vegetarian. As such, these recipes will all be meat-free, and will also attempt to be both kid- and budget-friendly.
Disclaimer: I do not usually (if ever) create my own recipes. I have neither the time nor the creativity. I do modify recipes I find as needed. I will always credit sources, regardless of my modifications. All recipes posted here are not mine, unless stated otherwise. All photos posted are mine.
A note on photos, when I use them: I do not claim to be a food photographer - or a photographer of any caliber, really. I use a very old point-and-click digital that's almost falling apart, and I don't photoshop before posting. Usually food looks better in person than off of my camera; photos are for reference only. But hey, sometimes they manage to look pretty, anyway!
